Located on the east shore of Northern California’s Lake Almanor, Dorado Inn is nestled amongst tall pines in a quaint private setting only steps away from the water’s edge. During the cooler seasons, you can snuggle to the warmth of a wood-burning potbelly stove in the privacy of your room. Stores for grocery shopping and fishing tackle are only minutes away.


You can have the choice of any of our seven cabins. We have 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom apartment style cabins and 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom condo style cabins.	You will be sleeping on a large, comfortable, queen size bed or a cozy twin bed for the children.

The 1-Bedroom cabins have 1 queen size bed; the 2 Bedroom cabins have either 2 queen size beds or 1 queen size bed and 2 twin beds

A full kitchen, including pots & pans, utensils and a coffee pot

Living room with a sofa, coffee table, cable TV (includes HBO) and a potbelly wood stove for those cool evenings (wood is provided)

Bed and bathroom linens are provided

Private Marina

Private dock with a slip for your boat (bring your own or rent one from a local marina)

Private boat launch ramp at the resort

On Season dates run from Memorial Day through Labor Day

On Season requires a 1 week minimum stay (Saturday to Saturday)

All units are non-smoking - no exceptions

Sorry, no pets are allowed on the premises
